In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top Tools apps in Spain on a unified platform, combining both iOS and Android data, revealed some interesting trends. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provided insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these applications.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy by Nord Security showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $23.4K in early March. Weekly downloads also demonstrated a positive trend, reaching around 17.2K at the beginning of March, while active users increased steadily, surpassing 182K in mid-March before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.

Avast Antivirus & Security experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a high of about $9K at the end of March. Downloads saw a peak of 14.5K in mid-March, and active users varied, reaching over 531K in early January before experiencing a decrease and then a recovery to approximately 443K by the end of March.

AVG AntiVirus & Security witnessed a gradual increase in revenue, ending the quarter at around $4K. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 4.1K in early March, while active users showed a steady rise, reaching 274K by the end of March.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $7.7K in mid-March. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 5.8K in early March, and active users showed an upward trend, surpassing 39K in early March.

Finally, Pokémon HOME from The Pokémon Company had a surge in revenue in early February, reaching about $3.5K. Downloads peaked at 2.9K in late February, and active users showed variability, starting at 12.6K in early January and ending at 13.6K by the end of March.
